GAT series

The GAT belt-driven axial fans are designed for industrial use, where the nature of the fluid prevents the use of directly coupled fans.

Technical specifications

• Pressure (max): 600 Pa
• Flow rate (max): 50.000 m³/h
• Impeller size: Available in 12 sizes with impeller diameters ranging from 400 mm to 2,240 mm
• Blades: "aerofoil" profile
• Designed for temperatures up to 180°C

Flow Direction
The flow direction is always from pulley to impeller. They can be installed in both horizontal and vertical positions.

Casing

The casing is made with heavy gauge steel plate, with flanges rolled and holes drilled on the deep-drawing sheet steel casing.

An internal belt guard protects the belts, which are never in contact with the fluid.

All current fans, from the GAT 80 size up, are fitted with an inspection door.

All the casings are hot dipped galvanized in the standard version.

Impeller

For the size from 40 to 100, the impellers are made of light aluminium alloy pressure die casting with 10 blades. For the sizes from 112 to 224, the impellers have 9 blades in extruded aluminium alloy type Anticorodal.

The "aerofoil" profile of the blades of both the impeller types guarantees high efficiencies and reduced sound levels.
