GAV/GAX series
The "GA" axial fans with adjustable blades are specifically designed for applications requiring high airflows with relatively low pressures.
Technical specifications
- Pressure (max): 1.000 Pa
- Flow rate (max): 300.000 m³/h
- Impeller size: Available in 13 sizes with impeller diameters up to 2,240 mm
- Blades: "aerofoil" profile
- Adjustable pitch angle
Due to the adjustable fan blade pitch, performance can be tailored to meet specific system requirements at minimal cost. When the fan impeller is directly coupled to the motor shaft, it eliminates the need for pulleys and belts, thus reducing maintenance costs.
Casing
The casing is of the elongated type, completely enclosing both the fan wheel and motor. It is made of sturdy steel plate with holes drilled on both end flanges. Complete with inspection door for easy access to the motor terminal block, the casing are protected with hot-dip galvanization according to UNI 5744/66 standards.
Impeller
Two different types of impellers are available:
- the GAV type
- the GAX type
The blades have a wing section rationally designed in order to obtain the highest performances with reduced noise, especially at high frequencies and consequent reduction of the piercing tones.
